Cowpresso ceramic burr coffee grinders produces a more consistent grind size than other poorly generic made burr and blade grinders in the market comprised of cheap ceramic and steel burrs and blades.
The burrs are made of a harder quality ceramic, forming a sharper and more durable ridges. This crushes the beans into consistent grind sizes without losing its sharpness and durability for a long time. You might ask then? Why not a blade grinder? A blade grinder randomly slices beans as the blade spins anyhow anywhere, forming inconsistent grind sizes and bitter rancid coffee.

After going more 'serious' about brewing coffee from whole beans, I realised I knew nothing about a grinder. I learned a lot about the various types of coffee grinders and their pros and cons from Cowpresso's website. Decided that a small functional piece was what would work best for me and was smitten by this design that looked cute and retro.. I am pleased with its ease of use, high quality make, and the consistency of the ground. It has been a pleasure using it.. I even gotten my friend to buy one too!

First time using a manual coffee grinder. The grinder is easy to use but I am still getting used to the grind setting as it was too fine the first time I used it for drip coffee. Need to experiment more.

I am very happy with the Starter Brewing Kit. It came with a bag of upsized ‘Colombia Jeepao’, a hand grinder and a sock. My first freshly grinded cuppa from freshly roasted beans. Hard labour but hello aroma and some deserving arm workout! Give them a shot! Will order again, for sure! Oh, and if you’re lucky like me, you might get an EXTRA set; they mailed me another set without charging a few days later. I alerted the mistake to them and they generously told me to accept it as a welcome gift. I shall pass the goodness forward to a lucky friend.

The grinder, works rather well and the ground fineness is rather consistent. The roasted coffee beans that came with this kit was a medium roast fruity coffee. Tried it as a cold brew and a french press, both were amazing.

You can see here that the grind size is consistent. Outperformed my expectations, so far I’ve brewed on it using my French press, v60 and aero press and they”re all good.

Grind size is very consistent with the Cowpresso grinder, loving my filter coffees daily as I’m stuck at home. Even got the fruitcake blend along which makes the set very worth it, great job guys! Keep it up
