Farm Information
Exporter and producer Abdullah Bagersh has developed this coffee with a remarkable level of care through every step of the process, making it a true standout unlike any other Ethiopian coffee. This Ethiopian heirloom coffee is grown at high mountainous regions, an altitude of 1,800 - 2,100 meters in the coffee growing region of Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia. Coffee's of Yirgacheffe have long been prized for their delicate tea-like aromatics and clean flavor. The MISTY VALLEY brand is a prime example of the fruitiness , complexity and character of the prime-grade yirgacheffe coffee.

Only ripe cherries are picked by farmers and then sold to private processors. Arkabis who conduct primary processing including hulling of dry cherry and deliver to ECX's warehouse in Dilla Town. Sa Bagersh transports the coffee to Addis Ababa where its export mill and warehouse is located. The coffee is then processed using state of the art Pinhalense Machines with a colour sorter and is then finally handpicked by hardworking farmers. Only screen 15 and above are used, this is sometimes difficult to achieve due to climatic and growing conditions in a given crop year. The Coffee is exported in Grain Pro Bags only according to strict procedures. The Complex fruitiness and overwhelming floral notes are achieved through repeated experimentation to achieve the right ratio among each year's crop.
