DF64E has a higher selling price than DF64 as it cost more to produce, mainly due to the addition of electronic dosing features.
Features:
1. Electronic Dosing
DF64E has three dosing options available on touch screen - single shot, double shot and manual dosing.
Electronic function: DF64E will grind for a predefined amount of time and then stop. Users can adjust and set the timing based on the amount of coffee needed.
Manual function: DF64E will grind forever until it is manually stopped by user.
2. Designed for Espresso Grinding
DF64E is mostly designed for espresso grind sizes. The DF64 has a wider range in grind size for other brewing methods.
3. Bottom Burr Adjustment
Swipe DF64E bottom burr to adjust grind size, compared to turning DF64 top burr to adjust grind size. This allows DF64E to be taken apart for cleaning and put back together without messing up grind size.
4. Upgraded Aesthetics
DF64E has additional wood accents for a more premium look while the DF64 does not.
5. Upgraded Ergonomics
