Each practical session at the cafe concentrates on a different topic, and participants will be expected to have gone through a theory video before the practical sessions to apply what they have learned, get any questions they have in the content answered, and discuss the theories behind different methods to make the most out of the practical class sessions

Course Objective
On completion of this course, the participant will gain an appreciation of production and processing cycle of Specialty coffee beans from bean to cup and it’s impact on coffee flavour notes, learn how roasters cup their coffee, discover SCA guidelines and contrast it with actual recipes used by award winning barista in competitions, exposure to the many different types of coffee brewing methods available, understanding and application of different factors of coffee extraction according to the brewing type, the art of steaming & foaming milk with an espresso machine for basic latte art

All participants' health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Close supervision is ensured. Heavy tools are used; you may want to wear safety / covered shoes for this workshop experience. If you show symptoms of fever, shortness of breath, or cough, please notify us and do not attend the lesson.
Terms and Conditions
A refund of 50% of the workshop fee will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing and received less than 14 days before the workshop date.
No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop.
We reserve the right to cancel the workshop activity in the event beyond control such as illness, venue availability, or bad weather. If we cancel the session, a refund will be issued within 14-days of notice.
There is an inherent safety risk involved in any workshop session. By registering for this course, Cowpresso and its employees disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that happened during the event.
Duration
Private theory video will be provided 1 week before the practical Session, to be viewed in your own time and leisure.
2 Hours for each practical session held at the cafe. This session is carried out at our Cafe, and limited to 4-6pax per lesson.
Course Fee
NETT Price. Class fee for 5 classes is $1500/pax through bank transfer/paynow. Credit card incurs a 4% surcharge.
If you are purchasing your Home Barista Coffee Machine or Commercial Espresso Machine from us, you may wish to enjoy the espresso-focused component of the class with the delivery of your machine in the comfort of your home and using your own equipment!
